Columbia Union School District is hosting a community table top exercise around fire preparation and evacuation with exercises being facilitated by the Undersheriff of the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office (TCSO) and the Office of Emergency Services (OES).
Wildfire preparedness is a shared community responsibility. This tabletop exercise is designed to strengthen communication, coordination, and understanding among schools, agencies, community partners, and residents so that we are better prepared to respond when a wildfire or evacuation occurs. By learning roles, reviewing evacuation procedures, identifying potential challenges, and practicing how information and resources are coordinated during an emergency, we can build greater community awareness and confidence.
The goal is not only to prepare for an event, but to ensure that when one occurs, our community is able to respond quickly, calmly, and collaboratively to protect students, families, staff, and residents.

If you are planning on attending, this registration form must be completed so the school, TCSO, and OES can plan accordingly. If we reach capacity, we will notify impacted registrants and the sign-up form will be closed. Please complete one (1) form for each attendee. So if you and a friend wish to attend, each of you must complete this form.
