Principal

Please let me take this opportunity to welcome you to the 2023-24 school year at Columbia Elementary School.  Serving our school community as your principal is both an honor and a privilege.  I look forward to working with you and your student(s) to make this a successful school year.

Let me introduce myself to those of you I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting.  Since 2010 I have been a member of the Columbia Elementary School community.  During that time, I have taught many of your children in kindergarten through 5th grade.  Last school year, I worked as a teacher on special assignment as assistant principal.  I am strongly committed to working with you and our staff to provide a safe, caring, and connected learning environment.  Together, we can be successful in helping our students meet their full learning potential.   

As the principal, I am here to support students, staff members, and families in working to create the best possible learning environment. I know every child can learn and succeed, but each child and each family is unique.  Please reach out to me if there is anything I can do to support your child or your family to ensure your child’s academic success and overall well-being. You know your child best and your insight and communication with the school is critical.   I look forward to working with you.
